Why Dive Cayman? Lets see....
  • A 40 minute flight from Miami
  • Warm, crystal clear, current free waters
  • 100' vis (at least)
  • An island which is the tip of a mountain with a 6,000' drop off for sheer wall diving (rock climbers will appreciate the similarities)
  • Easy, shallow dives and calm water (that's the west side of the island)
  • Nothing in the water that wants to kill you!
  • Ten minute boat drive to dive sites
  • Great shore diving opportunities - even a mini-wall
  • Professional dive operators who care about your safety
  • Hyperbaric chamber on island (not that your gonna need it because you are a cautious diver!)

Diving West   This side of the island is more protected from the winds.  Diving west sites average 50 - 60' but a trip to the wall is still possible.  With more than 50 dive sites to choose from, such as the Oro Verde,   Trinity Caves, Sand Chutes, and more, you

Diving North (Wall Diving)  You can dive north without wall diving... but why?  This is what Cayman is known for!  Diving "off the wall" is a thrilling and unique experience... Guided by your dive master, you cruise down to about 80' then drop off the wall..... nothing... for 6,000'.  It is an amazing feeling.  You feel so free and yet so small!  Tarpon Alley, Penny's Pinnacle and so many great sites offer you opportunities to see huge fish, coral formations, rays, and turtle.  Maybe even a passing shark?

  • Sea Fan Reef
  • Light House Point (Dive Tech's new location)
  • Eden Rock / Devils' Grotto
  • Fosters
  • Governor's Reef (don't be so snobby - it's fun to explore this snorkle site from below!)

Sting Ray City Sting Ray City   Touted as the greatest 12' dive in the world.  That's right... it's only 12' deep and the Atlantic Sting Rays are all around you!  They feed from your hands, sit on your head, and are so docile and curious.  An easy dive and a life experience!
